I brought this to fix my leaking astracast vanquish tap. Perfect fit. Job done. Cheap quick fix.
Cheap fix for a 9 year old leaking Frankie boiling water tap. My Frankie tap was leaking asked the technical support for help and they told me to replace the tap with a £700 new one… I bought one of these instead! It worked… no more leaks at the base of the tap.
I had to cut the lugs off, then it worked perfectly. Perhaps an old tap? I don't know.
Used this for a 29yr old caravan mixer tap leaking. Although the stem neck was slightly smaller than original, seemed to be same as all the specialist caravan accessories retailers were offering, only half the price at Toolstation.com.
Anyway, it's fitted and works well with no leaks. Job done.
PS - Don't think can fix an older cartridge with scoosh of WD40.....ask me how I know!
Mixer tap leaking , bought this it worked for a while but then had small leak of water around seal.
It was the closest size and fit I could find to replace the old one , unfortunately all tap manufacturers don't seem to have a universal size and some seals are bigger or smaller.
Please check if it fits before buying.

Bought a new tap from another supplier and returned it as it was faulty and then discovered I could buy this for my existing tap at a fraction of the cost of a new tap , excellent quality product highly delighted can recommend. Also the lady that served me at Toolstation Wombwell Lane Barnsley was very helpful and polite as are all staff at Toolstation branches.
Does the job very well. Any problems I had were because of the tap housing. When fitting one of these its always a good idea to clean the tap housing, cartridge seat and screwthreads, to remove any lime scale. Some good videos on Youtube will help. if you're nt sure.
Fitted this in my motorhome and it leaked up the shaft of the cartridge so returned for a refund
Monobloc tap seizing up, kids could not use tap, tried YouTube videos to clean and oil stiff cartridge, wasting my time, brand new cartridge cost £5, resulting in tap feeling brand new and repaired in 10 mins, well pleased as other website stating £15 to £25 for new cartridge.
