Made from a decent thick material and nice and deep
Easily ordered on line, ready very quickly, collected straight away
These are made from very thin metal. I didn't think that would be a problem until I managed to easily strip the threads on the fixed tab of the first one I used. This was second fit so the box was already plastered in and the wall painted. Took a lot of faff to resolve the situation, and the client had to put up with an accessory set at 90 degrees until I could resolve it. The made4trade fittings offer a cost saving, but I doubt I will risk it using these back boxes again.
Earthing screw missing, so problem earthing the box
Needed to get rid of unsightly surface mounted pattress box, this baby did just the job replacing it.
Great back boxes that we've been using for our light switches, easy to install and route the cables thanks to the multiple options on where you can open
It's a metal backbox. It's ok. Does the job. Cheap and cheerful.
Excellent box was replacing 1950 for smart light switches they much thicker so need deeper box.

It's good value and substantial but you have to get it spot on level as there is no adjustment on the screw holes.
I've been asked to write a glowing review on the afore mentioned product at the end of the day thay are simply back boxes and you can't really glam that fact up

Excellent product. Easy to fit in wall. This is the perfect back box for a 1 gang light switch. These are 70mm all sides. A light switch will have 86mm approx. all sides. So, the light switch will cover completely the back box.

Great little architrave boxes very useful for flat back wall lights where you need to put the connections.
