Bought to replace a similar unit on which the sensor failed. The guts of this seem a bit more plastic but the sensor seems to work way better than the old one from new.
The old unit at minimum sensitivity would pick up people up on the pavement walking past the house approx 6m. This one it will go down to 1m which is way better.
Time will tell if it lasts.
I echo some of the previous comments. The earth connection is ridiculously fiddly as is fitting the domed retaining nuts. You get what you pay for.
Hard to instal - earthing wire connector was unconventional - I had to use electrical connectors I had to make a safe connection. Poor design
Pit light easy to install and setup, I hope the finish is durable, time will tell, looks good at the moment.
Just what was needed, looks good and price great. Can adjust the sensor by using controls above it

I bought this to replace a similar light that had become faulty. A good replacement just a shame for me that the back unit is slightly smaller than the original. New fixing hole was required. The light works,just getting the fine adjustments to my liking.
First one didn't work , second one is giving me trouble with the settings
I bought these to fit to the outside of the side of my house, where I keep refuse bins etc. The built in PIR is useful as they light up the further I travel along.
They are fairly easy to install, but a bit fiddly as they are compact. The lamps are easy to change. I have had no problems with rain water ingress.
Very poor design in that the two fixing nuts on the front of the fitting are behind the body of the light making them very difficult to fit
Plastic threads on lamp covers wasn't what I was expecting, but, hey, it works.
All in all a good light with pir control and a good finish.
Brought this unit to replace a MAP unit, unfortunately the quality not as good as the Map unit.
The item is as described was easy to fit and set up and the service by Toolstation was excellent as always
