Was a little worried about this product as it was so cheap but I have to say I’m well impressed it was super easy to install as I was replacing an existing light that no longer worked. It gives out really bright light so I’m well impressed and very happy with the purchase.
Looks decent quality. A bit fiddly for someone as ham-fisted as me. Lights work. I'm not sure that the sensor range is as far as 10 metres mentioned. We will have to wait and see if it lasts. Few of these lights seem to.
Bright white light and ideal for hard wiring to domestic electric supply. The light is designed for the cable to be run into the unit through a hole in the wall
Needed something quicky. The item is ok, but a little pricey for the quality, but was only one I could get at short notice with twin lights. There is not much room to work in if you want to run it to a switch. I shop around for something else if I had more time.
Having to make a bracket to fixFloodlight, as there is no slot in the fixing for an exterior cable. Not fitted yet because not made the bracket to alloe electric cable to allow entrance into the floodlight. This design is for cable to come from directly behond the flood light. I'm using external electric supply. Wouldnt purchase again.
Quick and easy to install , has brightened up my life
I purchased this floodlight as it doesn’t have an attached supply cable to replace an old halogen security light. It satisfied all my needs and was easy to install be it the instructions weren’t brilliant. My only negative was that there wasn’t a side entry for the supply cable but I managed to improvise to overcome this problem.
The floodlight seemed to be well constructed and gives off a good light.

Security light was easy to fit and light is bright
Excellent light overall. Easy to fit and set up. It's worth noting that ,with the LED lights set horizontally as shown in the illustration, the horizontal spread of light from the two LED lights is fixed. The only way to adjust this angle is to rotate the LED lights 90 degrees so that they are vertically orientated but you then loose the vertical angle adjustment.
The wall-mount fixes with two screws, the lights assembly can then be wired and then fitted to the base with just one central screw. The light can be selected to come on when movement is detected, or dusk to dawn, or continuously overridden. After dark options are reduced light or fully off until movement is detected.
Easy to install, working fine after 1 month. Limited adjustment span on horizontal arrangement but if lamps are in vertical it spans 90Degrees so ok for my needs ie corner of shed.
Good little light. Never failed in 3 months even after torrential rain. Day/ night already set for you.
Never used this model before but it was easy to install and the sensor was pretty accurate. Light output very good for the size.
I bought this light to replace an old halogen PIR outside light. It was very easy to install with only live and neutral wires into a connection block inside the housing and two mounting screws included with wall plugs. It's a lot brighter than my old light with 3 different settings for proxity detection range and a dusk till dawn setting for continuous use during darkness if required. The angle of the lights can also be adjusted to suit the illumination area required.
A good quality light for a good price, I would recommend.
I fitted the Lutec Chimera PIR 20W Floodlight a couple of days ago. It was easy to fit, adjust and wire. The brightness is impressive. Location Bacup.
This is a good light, but cable access is poor and only possible from the rear, straight out of the wall. My cables came in from above, so the fitting required cutting with a Dremel to allow access. This compromises the moisture seal and meant the job took much longer than it should have done.
Lutec twin head security light is just what I needed. Thank you to the staff in helping me to decide what to purchase.
