This is a nice light with a reliable (so far) PIR sensor. It is let down by the stupid backplate mount. Any other light I have installed uses 2 horizontally aligned screws to affix the backplate to the wall. This one has offset screw holes. This means the backplate has to be held against the wall in such a position that the 2 further screws that hold the lamp to the backplate are themselves horizontal. Only then can the holes for mounting the backplate to the wall, be marked on the wall. This wouldn't be a problem if the lamp unit could be separated from the backplate, but this isn't the case, consequently you have to faff about trying to align the backplate for the affixing holes while supporting the light unit so that it doesn’t put a strain on the wiring (no, the light can't be separated from the backplate due to the wiring connectors used). It's this situation that stopped me giving it 5 stars.
Bought this model as should be able to turn light to constantly ‘on’ by using override function. However, despite us all studying the instructions, 3 of us can’t get it to work, including the electrician.
Only option would be to try a replacement, but would incur cost of electrician all over again, and it still might not work.
Shame really, as light itself looks good.
Any advice from someone who has got this to work properly would be appreciated please.

Very nice Wall lights. The only down side is the pir sensor is very sensitive.
Yes they look ok but on opening the 1st one of the two I ordered I could the glass cover to be mis shapen - should be round not egg shaped so it doesn’t fit the main bracket assembly. They are being returned!!!
Great looking, hopefully they will last - aluminium all over and look well made. No bulb and if surface mounting and haven’t brought the cable up directly underneath you will need a cable sized cut out on the floor
