Bought this light thinking that all that was needed was to plug it in or hardwire it, not the case the connection end consisted of a small 2 piece small pins. Obviously some sort of transformer or plug is needed, more trouble than it’s worth
Effortless connection with the Luceco LED garden spike lights — a great match!
These low-voltage lights have transformed a previously dark corner of our garden into a beautifully lit space. It’s just a pity there isn’t a longer cable option available (e.g. 5M), which would offer a bit more flexibility. That said, the lights themselves are solid quality and do exactly what we needed.
Needed to replace an IP20 LED 2 pin plug for garden lights where the thin cable had broken off right at the sealed plug, no way of gutting the plug to get to the innards to rewire it so this was the answer. Chopped the extension cable and made a waterproof connection to the end of the original frayed cable. 2 pin extension fits perfectly into the LED transformer. Thanks to the local Toolstation guy who knew what he was doing and worked through the solution with me.

Seems to be a good piece of kit.. Plug and play which made for an easy install. Hopefully will see out the 2 years guarantee it comes with.

Good quality low voltage spike light but maybe cable could be a bit longer or they could provide longer than 1.5m extension cables

Nice unit - but the retaining screw threads are tapped straight into the cast body. It’s very, very easy to strip the thread. Otherwise - great
