This light was ideal as I needed to match existing lights and I was able to adjust both the brightness and light colour to match in.
Great lights multiple wattage and colour spectrum options. However the retaining springs are so fierce removing them to change the light colour will destroy your plasterboard ceiling in no time. They also don't sit as flush as I would have expected given the price.
Overall good but not great.
Very pleased with these. Easy quick push-in connections, variable 4W/6W, and four colour temperatures to switch between. Excellent!
Easy to install and use. Seem pretty well made. Connections are well laid out and simple to identify.
Nice little unit. Feels well made, options for changing light colour and wattage are really good. Terminal block well designed. Spring clips really strong
Excellent led down light, good quality construction and design. Light produced is excellent ideal for anywhere in the home using the 2 wattage settings and 4 colour range. All round top quality product!
Fitted loads of these great fittings easiest to fit
GRATE UNIVERSALL LIGHT EASY TO FIT GRATE UNIVERSALL LIGHT EASY TO FIT
Good quality definitely recommend them easy to change colour temperature so client was happy and makes my life easier as I don't need to buy a specific colour temperature. I can just ask the client on the day
Great and lots of features to set to your requirements.
Decent lights. Time will tell if they have the longevity. The switches to change between watts and temperature are a little sensitive so sometimes move when fitting. But overall the connections seem good and customers seem happy with the finish.
Bought to replace existing eyeball lights in a customers kitchen. They were perfect
Really good quality.. Nice range of colour temperatures.. The small screw that holds the cable clamp down. This is the only bad design.. It should be captive. Make connections up the ladder easy with push fit.. But trying to not drop the tiny screw is a pain.
When my bathroom downlighters started flashing after being installed May 2023. I discovered Luceco have changed my FType Natural White downlighter, and brought out a Mk2 4 colour model.
When fitted it is brighter as it is now daylight on its highest setting. 6watt 4000k setting is not bright enough so may not be on! Why do companies do this instead of fixing the reason their old FType 6watt 4000k LED downlighter model last without faults for the total hours it stated it did.
The only way now is to replace the other 3 when they start flashing?
Light output fine, install mega fiddly, will go back to separate connector from fitting. The integrated cable connection is so fiddly the individual buttons are about 3-4 mm square with 1mm between them so pressing these to insert or remove a core needs dexterity! I also didn’t like the light selector on the body as it is easy to knock these as you press the fitting into place. Others have them behind the bezel so you can change the light setting easier
Ordered with the correct code for the angled downlights, went to pick up and the standard were delivered for collection, not the angled. Reordered at the shop, went to the shop again when received text to pick up, wrong downlights AGAIN! Trying to get a refund as didn't need the standard downlights but I have to go into the shop AGAIN just to receive my refund. Absolute farce.
Well made and easy to connect and install, springs are very strong so be carefull
Great, bright light, but not Dim2Warm. These are available in either CCT or Dim2Warm from the manufacturer, these are all the CCT models.
I don't know how well this will work but the unit by the same maker that it replaced has a high failure rate. I have 9 in my kitchen and 2 failed within the first 18 months. They were under guarantee but it is a pain to get an electrician in to replace them
Works great but flimsy springs, often comes of when trying to put in a tight space, the extra cover plates of different colours look and feel cheap despite paying a higher than average price
