Nice quality fitting but the cable retention system is fiddly, no idea why they dont use screw or Wago connections.

I have already had three failures out of perhaps 100 though, since these lamps landed a couple of years ago.
I think the old bright green cased F-type possibly were more reliable.
What is good is the largish 90mm diameter, size, they retro-fit easily and because of the generous diameter, unlike many, it's possible to drill a hole up to 75mm which I (not all) can just about squeeze a hand through to fetch cables out.
I'm a bathroom fitter, so I fit a lot of downlights. Luceco has been my go to brand for years, as they are so easy to fit with the loop in loop out push fit terminals. This new version is cheaper and better. It's the little things: the screw that holds in the snap down cap, is already loose and yet retained, so when you've done the wiring, you just have to snap the lid down and tighten the screw. With the previous version, you had to unscrew it first and the screw could easily fall out, never to be found again. The plastic still snapped down into place and it wasn't the end of the world if you lost that screw, but still. It's a wonderful little improvement that says a lot about Luceco.
Nice basic product, well-made and easy to fit, good value for money
Really good lights, nice and bright. Easy to wire. Springs are strong so watch your fingers when pushing up into ceiling. Bezels are easy to change
