Very easy to install with clear installation instructions
I purchased my first one of these bulbs to confirm the quality and how smart they actually are based on other reviews of Luceco smart lights
I can't fault the quality of the light and the negneg connection is really easy to use.
The brains of the light isn't potted so you can easily pop the top off to see what's going on. My light uses a Broadlink BL3362T-P module which makes it function similar to the Broadlink LB27
I first setup the light with the BG Home app and I was able to pair it to my 2.4GHz wifi using AP mode
Experimenting with the app and settings there was a firmware update available and the change log suggested an increase in pairing timeouts so this may address the complaints in other reviews.
I've only tested a single bulb so haven't had much experience with setting rooms or how multiple devices work in mesh mode to reduce load on your router
I did note with the light I received that the red and green LEDs are wired backwards so the colour wheel and scenes were off.
Digging deeper into the smartness I wanted to see if python-broadlink would work at all and after some basic code changes I was able to control the light with my computer.
I've since purchased 10 more to hopefully integrate this into Home Assistant over two rooms
Bought to replace the crackden yellow kitchen lights installation was simple enough. The app was fine but pairing the light required some changes on my virgin router and some jumping about to get it to pair. I will be buying more to replace the knackered old lights.
These lights are pointless, the app keeps crashing so you have no control over the lights, read the bg home app reviews before you buy these lights, waste of money
