The straps where used to secure new lean to rafters to an existing ridge board to prevent the new roof pushing the outer walls of a conservatory outward. They are of good quality and seem to do the job
Got these for fixing garden sleepers together just the job with some nice long screws
Decent strength for the size. Rough finish, you need to wear gloves when using them, which is why I have reduced to 4 star. A better finish would be more expensive so you would lose the great value for money that these cheap straps represent.
They are thick enough that if you want to shape them you will need a bench vice and hammer

Bought these to join a couple of small sleepers together, in the garden. Worked great. One word of warning….be careful how you get hold of them, I ended up with two deep paper type cuts on my hands. They have very sharp edges!
