Knipex DP50 Pipe Cutter

The Knipex DP50 Pipe Cutter form ITS is a cutter for plastic drain pipes. 

The cutter is made from durable glass fibre, reinforced plastic and can cater easily for 32mm, 40mm and 50mm pipe.  This is easily adjusted by sliding the metal adjuster on the handle.

The cutter is incredibly easy to use and delivers optimal cutting due to the slide bearing and self adjusting guide rolls.  Once in place, the spring loaded blade delivers the right amount of pressure to cut the pipe.  You won’t need to exert any additional force or make any adjustments on the tool.

In a single operation, it will cut and chamfer all common, domestic plastic drain pipes.  The cutter includes an exchangeable blade with two cutting edges.  When one cutting edge is beginning to show signs of wearing down, simply take it out, turn it to the unused end, and keep going.

When the cutter makes the cut, it will also form a chamfer for a proper connection – all done in one go.  If you only need to cut a little section off to finite adjustments, the Knipex DP50 Pipe Cutter can segments as little as 10mm.

The cutter produces a very clean cut meaning that there is no need to readjusting or deburring needed.  This reduces the risk of any blockages or damages to the seals.  The design and versatility of the DP50 allows the cutter to work with high temperature pipes as well as other general use plastic pipes up to a wall thickness of 2.4mm.
