This product is good but it could be great. The wire is way too short and there is no way to store it when not in use. It drives me crazy. I wish it would have atleast a way to wind it back into the hoover. Suction is very good and its very light weight.
I bought this hoover to replace my cordless AEG. what a difference does it make - wet or dry. we had a clogged sink drain, and this hoover unclogged it without any issues. cleanest carpets I've had in years - a very satisfied customer. robust build and easy to take apart and clean.

Not all Karcher products have impressed me but their WD2 beats the performance of any cordless, battery operated offering, providing excellent suction.

Robust vacuum with a compact size. Great for cleaning the car or cleaning up spilled water. Very robust and can suck up all sorts of dust and debris.
Bought this to replace a ShopVac for DIY use. Half the size than that vacuum but just as powerful and better designed - Large start/stop switch, easy to disconnect hose and easy disconnect top from bottom. Exception is the cable, no real way to wrap away neatly and usually ends up unravelling itself and getting in the way. Annoyingly doesn't come with a power tool adaptor (doesn't advertise with one so fair enough), but cheap enough to buy elsewhere. Quite noisy, wouldn't use for extended periods without earplugs. Also, due to compact size the filter eats into the internal space if using a bag, not an issue if loose though. Overall, for the price and intended use I'm happy.
Have had many garden vacs in my decades on this earth but this is the best ever. Lightweight, powerful suction, easy to manoeuvre, simple to clean - I could go on and on. Cleaned up a disgustingly filthy garage in about half an hour - 6 years worth of dust, leaves, cobwebs, etc. In an afternoon, cleared up years of dried pine needles and leaves, which had become ingrained in artificial grass. Just one word for it - REMARKABLE!
It's a great little machine. It picks up allsorts and not only the liquorice variety! It even connects to the back of by sander making it dust free. Highly recommended.
The WD2 plus is a fantastic machine. My old vacume cleaner died & as I have other Karcher products that do exactly what it claims I thought I would get one of these. Cleaning the inside of my car now is easy as, the pick up is brilliant. An A! product.
Needed Vacuum cleaner for garage etc. Also needed some confidence that spares, bag filter would continue to be available, hence Karcher fitted the requirement. Only used once but plenty of suction for my needs. Good range of accessories included, like the option to use the bag so you don’t need a mask to empty. Just remove bag and bin.
Bought this to replace the WD3 I had before and have regretted it ever since. It's just too small - there's barely room for the bag and the filter in the drum. This becomes very obvious when the bag is full. Possibly related to this, on mine at least, the side clips are tricky to engage and one is constantly pinging open when I pick it up. Bad design, in my opinion. Can't wait til it breaks so I can buy the bigger one again.
Really good if you want to wipe down your wet shower and panel boards and your windows.
I’m very disappointed with this Kärcher vacuum cleaner. The main issue is the power cable, which is not retractable and does not go into the body like you’d expect from a quality product. It just lays loosely on the floor and constantly gets in the way while cleaning.
Even worse, there is no proper way to store the cable when not in use — no hook, no hanger, nothing. It ends up tangled on the floor or wrapped around the vacuum awkwardly, which makes both usage and storage a mess.
What’s frustrating is that this flaw is not shown in the product photos. The cable is conveniently cut from view, giving a false impression that it’s spring-loaded or neatly stored. If I had known the cable would just be lying around, I would never have bought this vacuum.
Kärcher is supposed to be a brand that stands for quality and smart design, but this feels like a major step backward. Very disappointed and honestly surprised they overlooked such a basic feature.
