Very easy to fit, just push into pipe. Stops pipe being squashed if fitting into copper fittings.
I am renewing the plumbing on my boat and used flexible plastic pipe because of the difficult access. The joints in the system are copper compression and it is therefore necessary to use inserts in the pipes so that they are not crushed by the compression fittings. I found it difficult to find any metal inserts and so bought the plastic JG Speedfit inserts. These worked well with no damage to the pipework. I scored the inserts 4 out of five stars as I considered them to be expensive for something as simple.
was it me the inserts just fall out too slack i ended up buying the metal hep'0 inserts instead
