The slotted design of the new self-energising CR locking pliers exponentially increases torque for firmer clamping. The pressure adjustment Allen screw tightens the pliers to precisely fit the workpiece and allows for controlled release.

The CR locking pliers have multiple contact points with the workpiece, giving it a significantly firmer grip. As a result, the CR series is well suited for greasy working environments and for moving in confined spaces where it can be difficult to use both hands.
