Good tool, Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Had to drill large pieces of wood in position due to warping and the clamps are solid ... bit heavy for working alone at height. Not tried the one- handed quick clamps but unsure they would hold 4m lengths of heavy timber. Cheaper modern versions of G clamps were not as good.

Works as it should, easy to use, perfect size, strong enough 💪

Needed something to help break the bead on my scooter tyres. This, with the help of levers, was just the job. Excellent quality and definitely heavy duty, very decent kit.

Used to hold fence panel in position whilst I secured other fittings. Very happy with quality and robust nature of the item. Recommended.

I had gone to Toolstation for the 8" Heavy Duty G Clamp but they were out off stock. I had not considered the 6" as it was only listed as Medium Duty. However, the guy at Toolstation suggested that I look at the 6" G Clamp and went to fetch one. When I saw the construction quality I bought it and it did the job with ease.

For a budget clamp its very strong. The anvil isn't perfectly level but if you look at the picture maybe it isn't meant to be ? who knows, but its only minor and still does the job perfectly. I specifically wanted forged steel rather than a cast body as I have misused used a few cast ones and they fractured. My bad.. not the clamps fault. I also wanted the steel clamp for a welding project and need to weld to it at some point. yep.. misusing a tool again :-)

I wanted record clamp and Toolstation had this at a cracking price. I'm impressed by it's quality and strength, it should hopefully last for years. The clamp thread mechanism is smooth as it tightens with no slack and holds its grip perfectly. Overall, a great bit of kit for the price.

Very strong clamp with good opening width to hold things in place firmly.
