Nice little saw but the the handle top is not friendly with my hand; other makers have better handle although they are more expensive
Good sturdy frame and handle which enables you to achieve nice straight cuts.
A nice junior hacksaw with a strong rigid frame which makes cutting thin items easier as there is no twist in the blade, well worth the money.
Good product. No flex in the frame which makes getting straight cuts easier. Blade change simple with thumb wheel
Nice comfortable handle, fees good quality, sturdy. May need a different blade, but this should be no problem as the mechanism to change blades is simple. Nice to have.the right tool for the job.
Cheap price but feels good quality. The handle is comfortable in the hand, even when spending 20 minutes sawing through a door handle spindle. The cut was lovely and straight too.
Looks well made and blade can be tensioned by a screw adjustment. Only used it to cut through a plastic curtain rail so no real test.
You have to tighten this thing up quite tight to get a straight cut, maybe because its new. Quite comfortable to use, I will see how long it taxes before something breaks. As I have only had the tool a few days, the verdict is yet to come
Great small hacksaw ideal for keeping in the toolbox, good blade cuts through easily
Good frame and handle! Blade it comes with is coarse, not for metal.
Well designed pay a bit more for this premium tool well worth the extra pounds
I like Irwin branded products for the build quality and inherent strength. The thumbscrew tensioner is a great way to maintain blade integrity with such a small length, and the handle is comfortable.
My previous one (same model) lasted over 10 years. It was possible to tension the blade sufficiently, to make decent straight cuts, and was very comfortable to use, but has now broken where the frame enters the plastic handle. It had lasted for over 10 years, so no gripes there. This replacement looks fine, but the frame is a loose fit in the handle. I'll glue it in, to increase stability, and for convenience during blade changes.
Bought this because the previous, (cheaper one), fell apart. Worth the extra cost.
This saw has a good grip and is top quality, it feels solid in your hand as if it won't let you down. Accepts blades well.
A nicely made solid junior hacksaw that has decent rigidity
Very easy to change blade, handle is very comfortable
Handy saw, good price and easy to replace the blade grip is quite small, but adequate and a bigger one would likely be limiting.
It’s a hacksaw it cuts stuff. The tensioner is easy to use. It isn’t great but it is cheap!
Reasonably priced tool that was excellent for job.
