Solid piece of equipment. Good value. Worked well on a steel drain grid
Snips tin. Actually I have no idea... I bought to snip sheets of Lexan.
Does a nice straight cut, I imagine much straighter than shorter aviation snips would. Can be tricky cutting big sheets as it starts to catch your hand but nothing you can do about that than hold it out of the way. Seems to have stayed sharp enough in my use, although will no doubt need sharpening at some point.
Good price at Toolstation. Half the price of elsewhere for the exact same thing.
Effective at cutting through metal corrugated sheets
Really sharp, cuts stuff like washing machine metal.
Does the job.
Handy pair of tin snips used for cutting lead flashing
Needed some new tin snips to replace old pair. Always has the spring loaded type in the past and they always eventually bind up so decided to go for these. Proper old school and what a difference. No spring return in the jaws/handle took a few cuts to adjust to but the quality of cut is amazing and puts all previous pairs to shame. These will out live me. Forget the rest and just get these.
Had my last pair for 25 years! Cut EML and plaster beads neatly.
Great snips from great company. Perfect for the job
Good quality for the price. Used to cut bamboo screen to height.
Proper old school robust snips which work well on mild steel sheet
Best gilbows on the market without a doubt.
Recently done some roof ridge replacement job made easy with these gilbows.
Excellent cutters, well made, strong, great cutting edges. Buy some.
Used for cutting up an old 6x6 tin shed. Worked brilliantly
reliable product, used these throughout my working life starting in 1980, they have not changed, you can't improve perfection. they do what they are supposed to do, simple.
Strong, sturdy and it cut my aluminium sheet with ease. Pleased with my purchase.
Excellent value for money, cut through lead flashing like butter.
Bought these as couldn't find my 40 year old Gilbows but these aren't a patch on my old ones, which I dud find, they cut steel like paper but these new ones are a struggle to use.
Did the job great, snipped through a sheet of metal with ease.
Tradition tin snips, very good value for money. Would recommend.
Very strong and good value for money perfect, would really recommend to anyone needing snips
