Item is spot on !! (restored power to my hedge trimmers, cable severed by clumsy me). But it wasn't easy fitting: it's self evident, no need for the instructions, but the screws for clamping the copper wires were so tight, the heads distorted and I needed to disassemble the unit to wire up. But I did get there, and all's well!
Needed a waterproof connector for a garden pond pump. This looked perfect for the job, and it was.

cut through electric cable when cutting back honeysuckle on garden trellis and it was the cable for the tractor shed so needed electric for frost heater and the cable joint did the trick
Having had pond cables chewed by rats the cable joiners were easy to use and looked good whan in position
I've used lots of these online connectors before, always with spring clips, but this has screw terminal, which is OK but the screws were ridiculously tight. I thought I was going to destroy the heads while trying to loosen them. You really need to dismantle the block and put each connector in a vice while trying to loosen the screws. It seems to have done the job but it’s a bit big and ugly. Time will tell how rainproof it is. I wouldn't buy this again owing to the difficulty of use. I also thought it was dear for what it is.
Found the click & collect service efficient - no wasted time !!
Need to replace a garden water pump though most of the cable was buried. Cutting the old cable and connecting the new pump
Was straight forward. Happy as did not need to dig up the whole garden to install new cable
I went back to a submersible pump that had failed last week and we realised the pump had failed before these joints. Great bits of kits as long as the green rubber gaskets stay in one piece

Nice, small waterproof connector. Feels secure when sealed. The cable screws are a bit weak, so choose your screwdriver carefully!
Well built, compact and very easy to install. I'd definitely get more of these if a job came up that required a waterproof/splash resistant connection.
