I bought this SA Velcro to on a repair to my roller shutters. I rapped it around the discs on the barrel to protect the paint on the painted lath. It doing a great job. I would recommend.

Quite sticky but not onto stained wood to hold recycling bags. Smooth surfaces would give better adhesion but did job.
