Used a vice, hammer and angle grinder to make a pair of ladder brackets for the shed wall. This stuff has multitude of uses.
These are definitely strong and heavy for what they are. And after trying to cut them with my hacksaw I got the Dremel out with a cutting blade and used it instead. Used them to brace a small table that I've put a 3D printer on to stop it wobbling so much. Definitely overkill for my application, but getting custom bars cut was going to cost far more.
It is both metal and a strap. Potentially useful for all sorts of things.

The straps were ideal for the job being carried out. The screws, purchased at the same time, fitted the holes in the straps exactly.
