Great piece of kit. Good reach and angle adjustment. Blades nice and sharp and to not have any trailing cables was absolutely bliss. My hedge is looking the best it ever has and I cut it in half the time.
Good guality product fit for purpose. Bought to replace a 240v tool and is much safer and more convenient to use. Would recommend. The extended reach helps with tall hedges but the tool can be heavy at its longest reach.
Good value for the price. I wish it had a slightly longer reach and I find it a bit heavier than I expected.
The item is fit for purpose although I found it cumbersome and thus tiring as the "soft" hand grip is too close to the trigger being immovable to a different location.
Bought this extendable hedge trimmer a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it's brilliant. It was a replacement for another make I had that broke, but I have to say this Hawksmoor is 100% better. It's so easy to use and lightweight when reaching up to higher hedges. I would definitely recommend it.
It's a nice trimmer. Not too heavy. Good reach.
However it is so underpowered.
Struggles on anything thicker than privet.
This works well but I find it heavy and difficult to manage but I'm 73 years old.

Initially uncertain about whether a battery-powered trimmer could match the performance of a mains-powered version, I was pleasantly surprised. It delivers consistent cutting power, lasts well over an hour, and produces an impressive finish. Even the neighbous remarked on how great the results looked. The trimmer is lightweight and features multiple adjustable heads, making it highly versatile. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely purchase it again.
I brought this a month ago after finally getting fed up of using a hop up/step ladder for the past 10yrs to cut my tall hedge. Ime a landscape gardner so normally buy big boy brands for reliability. I was sceptical on how well it would work looking at the price comparison to the big boys. This works perfectly fine on my hedge and my hedge is about 8ft high and about 100metres long. Both sides and top done on a single charge. It's a privet/laurel/ wild hedgerow. It stops on anything thicker than your finger. But overall ime very happy
great product, works very well, enables me to reach the high points on my hedges, cuts through the branches very well, quick and easy to charge, love the cordless aspect
Looking for a long reach hedge trimmer this Hawksmoor 18v cordless fits the bill.
It is a lot lighter than previous petrol hedge cutter and battery lasts a long time.
Price was also a factor and this is another reason for the purchase.
It had managed to cut through most of the conifers and brambles without too much hastle though I do have to whack it against the larger branches.
It's pretty heavy as well but I don't have much upper body strength. After half hour I couldn't carry on but the battery was fine.

No issues does the job, little bit heavy when fully extended but still manageable.
I am pretty sure this cuts etc as well as all the other makes/models. But I failed to consider a weight comparison. It's quite heavy and I definitely need to provided shoulder strap to use it for more that a few minutes. It may be that there are no lighter models, but I recommend potential buyers to check that statistic out.
Not great with bigger branches but ok for the price
This is an easy machine to handle very easy to extend and cuts very well.so much easier than my corded pole trimmer.definately recommend.
Easy to set-up. Does a better job than previous hedgetrimmers I have used. Good product.
