Excellent service and a great wee chainsaw ideal for cutting up the 3/4/5 inch logs i have to cut up. The chainsaw was also straightforward to assemble.
Great little chainsaw. I procrastinated about which one to buy for a while. Set up was easy I already had some oil. First use the battery cut down about half my apple tree 25cm ish diameter. It's lasted longer since. Very light and easy to use no kickback so far. I have cut down two trees had to stop to charge halfway one both but I was in no hurry.
Very happy with purchase. Only had a short while but used it a few times. It's compact with low noise and vibration. It cuts the logs ect with ease. If I had a criticism it would be chain break is quite stiff but then you would want it flopping about. I would definitely recommend it to anyone as a tool for the medium sized garden. Also a great price
I wanted a small light battery saw to cut up pallets and light tree work and its perfect, goes through branches no problem as chain speed is good for battery saw does not throw chips and dust everywhere and it has plenty of power, comes with good quality chain and bar chain adjustment is easy chain oil lasts a while and is always enough to lube the chain, i cut up few small trees never run out of battery, but using saw i cut up five pallets before run out from a full charge only problem battery charge indicator showed one and half bars when run out apart from that been great little chainsaw.
I spent a fair bit of time researching cordless chainsaws before deciding to buy the Hawksmoor model. Elements considered were, battery amperage, bar length, cutting speed, weight and availability of replacement/additional batteries. Performance of the saw far exceeded my expectations. It was used to cut trunks up to 20cm which it did with ease. Battery performance was excellent giving a good 40 minutes of cutting time for various sizes of timber. Recharge time is also very good at about 60 minutes. I also use ICE saws which have a far higher rev range which means good hearing protection is essential. The cordless saw is lightweight and very quiet to use. All in all this is a great little saw for the money.
Very useful and efficient little saw, no need for petrol so ideal for gardeners or occasional users for smaller bushes or trees
I’ve had a corded electric chainsaw for many years which finally gave up working. It was always a safety issue watching out for the cable. Having several other battery Hawksmoor products and having read the reviews I have just purchased this chainsaw. I have used and I’m extremely impressed!!!!
Great little saw for the garden. Enough power to cut through any timber and battery lasts ages.
Bought to cut down a 25 year old silver birch due to roots damaging a driveway. Set-up and working very quickly.
A single battery charge completed the task including cutting branches / trunk down to manageable sizes. Max trunk diameter was approx. 12” / 30cm.
Trigger positions and lightweight feel meant one hand operation was possible when required.
At the end of the job, the oil reservoir was down to 2/3rds full, so lubrication system was working correctly.
Fantastic little machine. Its lightweight enables precise cutting with one hand. A great safety issue allowing the other arm to "hold on" when up a ladder. Why was it not invented "YEARS AGO?"
Great chain saw !
We safely and efficiently cut down a tree and sorted out the logs for winter
Great value for money
Bought this for cutting pallets and small logs for log burner,I must admit when I took it out of the box I thought it looked like a toy and thought I bought the wrong size.but I filled oil put bar and chain on and 1 hour later had a right heap of wood cut and the battery lasted a full hour and still had 1 led lit when I finished .i can’t believe this machine was as good as other people have said in reviews.nice not to have the noise of my petrol chainsaw and still get the same wood cut out of a battery chainsaw.very happy with it 👍👍
Good sturdy little unit. Well built and does the job.
Great little bit of kit. Made light work of some fir trees that I’d been quoted a £1000 to prune. A few hours and the job was done.
Excellent bit of kit. Great for trimming back trees
It very good it cut big branches then I thought.could do with spare battery for long use .
Decent bit of kit, you have to make sure to get the chain tight when you set it up and fill it up with chainsaw lubricant. So far I've used it for sawing a thick ivy tree, that I've been trying to remove for over 3 years.
Awesome chainsaw, came with a fully charged battery, just needed assembly which took a couple of minutes add chainsaw oil and away you go, cut through 3 inch diameter branches with ease, extremely easy to adjust the tension off the chain, super light weight, easy to handle, great value for money, and the batteries can be used for all the range
Great little saw, ideal for the handyman and the odd job man !
For what it cost, im really impressed, managed to do a decent pile of little logs on one battery, recommended doing what ive done and getting another battery, obviously not as powerful as a petrol one but its does the job
