It’s ok when you use it but sometimes you have to trim it about 15 times to get it to work.

Read the reviews. Needed a cheap petrol mower for my allotment and have donated my old one (cheap old Mountfield), to a charity garden I help.
Anyway filled up with oil and fuel and hoped it would start 1st or 2nd pull, as reviews seem to say. Sadly took about 12 pulls and 2 goes at the primer bulb.
Anyway, it started and ran fine but i stopped it to empty the grassbag and then, after about a minute to empty the bag, it wouldn't start till I'd primed the bulb again.
Old Mountfield was a better starter and, to be honest, feels better quality and a better cut, even though it's had a very hard life!
I know its early days but already thinking i should have bought another Mountfield!

Broke down on first use. Instructions from Coreservice expected me to identify the problem and home fix. I refused and they agreed after some discussion to collect and deal with. They expected me to buy a box to parcel up at £12. I refused and they agreed to send a box to me. I think it should have been immediately replaced but this was not offered. Very disappointed in this toolstation product

I bought this to replace an old Flymo that was falling apart! What a revelation. So much lighter yet with same blade size, which makes it very easy to manouver across the ground. Cuts very well, and grass box is a decent size. Only reasons not 5 stars is (1) you cannot see inside the grass box without removing it - so can’t judge when it needs emptying (2) it does not idle when you let go off the “drive” bar (e.g. whenever you need to empty the box) so you have to restart it every time.

Does the job very well and the single height adjustment lever acting on all wheels at the same time is a welcome facility. The engine 'hunts' a bit but this does not affect the capability of the mower to cut different heights of grass.
Very good value, And I am really pleased with the performance, the lawn looks great after just one effortless cut.
I have only just purchased this mower and used it only the once, but it was amazing. Normally my garden takes around 30-40 minutes to mow with my old Flymo hover, this only took around 20 and was so easy. It takes a little getting used to turning (especially being used to a light hover mower), but once you have your technique it’s so easy and quick. I’m not a mechanical person, but was able to set it up easily following the instructions. Putting in the oil and the petrol was probably the most difficult part with no gauge to indicate how full it was getting. Overall we’ll worth the money and I’d definitely recommend.

This was the cheapest petrol mower with good reviews i could find. Easy to order, easy pick up and easy to put together. The mower cuts really well- and starts first time. Would definitely recommend as a budget petrol lawnmower. It has a 2 year warranty.

Quality isn’t as good as a mount field or Similar. However given the price it’s good value.
