Excellent roller with a very smooth and even application and good paint retention.
Having used 2 large brushes for over 40 years I am now a convert to a roller. The Hamilton was excellent and easy to fit to a standard mop handle. Thank you.
Should have bought one long ago. Much sturdier than a standard roller where the barrel is connected only on one side. Now you get even pressure on each roll. I was able to screw in my existing extension pole too. The tray is strong and sturdy too and doesn't flex like cheapo ones. I was painting a 13m hallway so with this, the job was done much faster. Now i just need to find something to clean the rollers with as they're still loaded with paint.
Wish I had never bought this. Wanted a larger roller thinking that I'd get the job done sooner, but it turned out to be the opposite and really frustrating. I used this roller to do my living room ceiling, and from start to finish there were bits of the fleece coming out of the roller, meaning constant stops and having to pick bits off the freshly painted ceiling. When it came time to clean up, the paint tray is bigger than it needs to be, and I struggled to clean it as it didn't go in our standard size sink. I've used it for just the ceiling and have already bought a replacement.

Kit was fine for the price, but after painting around 42sq metres of floor the pin on the roller came loose and had to be pressed back in, could be a better design (maybe a screw both sides) as its supposed to be ‘trade’ rated

Great roller ...completely fluff free unlike some brands ..still went over it with masking tape out of habit but hardly a fibre on the tape. Holds paint exceedingly well. Hamiltons quality well worth the marginal price difference.

OK accept the bolt fixing the handle has to be constantly tightened and the roller sleeves arent very medium pile. All in all could be better
