Looked to be very nice, but the buttons were a pain to use, very cheep switches, so spoiled the unit. Having said that, it seems to be working, so lets hope it keeps going.
Easy to use. No problem programming but perhaps too many programme options
Not for me , screen far too small , could not read the display , and as far as I could fathom the buttons didn't do what the instructions said they would
We had to return is as very complicated to programme.
This product is fiddly to set up - the various buttons need to be pressed more than once. The instructions on the small viewing screen are difficult to read if eyesight isn't good.
Getting into battery compartment isn't easy.
Unit may well have been a returned faulty one. Upon opening the operating instructions were scrunched up inside. Unit did not work. See it is battery operated. Opened battery compartment thinking it my need battery. Was battery inside all corroded on the - terminal.Had just done 12 mile trip to get item so easiest choice was to install my own battery. Kept re setting as per instructions but would take no programming after 40 mins of trying. Lost all faith in unit will have to do another 12 mile trip to change for 12hr mechanical segment type timer.
Used to replace a 30 year old mechanical timer that was noisy. This one is silent. A little fiddly to programme because the buttons don't respond every time, but in the end works fine. I'm not sure what the point of 24 programmes is because you need to fiddle about changing from one programme to another. I can only imagine ever needing one programme.
I bought an electric timer from your North Walsham Branch. I asked the assistant if she could set the times for switching on and off for outside Christmas Tree lights. She did this for me, and was most helpful. A credit to your Branch
It appears to do the job but I found the buttons very difficult to use both because they needed a very positive pressure and particularly because the small buttons need to be pressed below the surface such as by the use of a finger nail.
A bit fiddly to set up and push button not very responsive , too many timing functions for normal domestic use 16 on and off positions
Bought this to replace older, i need this type mainly for the random feature for security lighting on off program, quite fiddly to set up as screen options to follow quite small, buttons to set up big enough but don't seem of good quality, I've set up time and 7 days random on off, once set all seems ok, mechanical timer switches are far easier to set if you want a regular on off system, in fact i bought this electronic timer along side 2no mechanical timers, both different models but work exactly the same, as well as being 1/2 the price of the electric version, so if you want hastle free set up stick to the mechanical versions every time,
Brilliant having 24 on/off timings per day. However it is a Pain in the A to set up but works well once done.
does what is expected for the money, although there are better on the market !
great idea, but tiny screen and overly complicated setup, needs bit of patience to setup
So much flexibility when compared to a mechanical one. Plus setup to the minute. Works great.
This timer appears to due all I require and is compact with easy to read display
I purchased it to reboot my internet router once a week. Challenging interface , led me to program it incorrectly. Returned after a week. Bought something with more buttons and leds which was easier to understand.
It’s far to complicated for what we needed and Toolstation changed it for a more basic model.
Works well for watering glasshouse on a mini bore tank feed rain water, Good value
It’s easy to set the clock time, you have to follow the sequence when setting the programme days and tab along the top of the window to see the bank of days once you get that sorted it’s OK.
