Possibly the worst tool I’ve bought. It doesn’t effectively score the glass, has a number of wheels to use and slips between them causing further issues. Save your money. I’m taking it back as it’s not fit for purpose.
Cut once then stopped cutting,on all six blades wont buy again

Well, it worked first time with no issue, it was on old glass, sprayed wd40 and light preassure and job done

Havent tried glass cutter yet but with 6 blades shld last a while seems good value at the price.
Needed to cut a circle which made controlling the cutter quite difficult. I expect it would pretty good on straight cuts.
The photo looks excellent so I’m giving it top marks for that alone. I’ve never purchased one of these so I think it may be on my account by mistake, or had my identity been cloned and some nefarious pastry addict is skulking about town with a glass cutter stealing cinnamon buns from bakers windows using my glass cutter….
Buy with confidence ! if cutting bottles please make an inexpensive jig either 3d printed or out of salvaged timber if you want precision. I personally used it to make score lines on THICK champagne bottles which broke perfectly along the score line.
Only wanted to make 2 cuts.... cudnt even make 1 cut....maybe a more expensive one would be better ..my fault.. you get what you pay for
Absolute rubbish. Wheels are simply not sharp enough, and wear out easily.
Easy to use and great value for cutting alsorts of glass and glass bottles.
I bought this glass cutter to cut out new panes for a garden lamp post refurbishment. The tool works really well. It’s important that you use firm consistent pressure when making the cut line and only score the line once. I had marked out my template on the board I was cutting on and was running against a straight edge, which made things easier, although you could free hand just as easily if required. A good tool for the money!
The blade dose blunt after a while, but there's 5 of them so not a problem...
TIP - dont forget to use cleaner/lube when cutting old glass, i didn't have meths at hand so a squirt of dw40 helped a lot ;-)

I ordered this, but actually received a blue handled ‘silverline’ branded one.
It wasn’t fit for purpose: you have to put a lot of pressure behind it to score, and then it would still break unevenly. It was impossible to get a clean cut.
I see now that this item has very mixed reviews, and wonder if we aren’t all receiving the same item?
