We recently bought a derelict house and although I got some work done my contractors most of the work was done by me. I have one very bad knee and one knee was going so my wife insisted that I buy some knee pads (being a bloke I moaned but said yes). Anyway I have been using them for some time now and no matter how much time I spent crawling around floors or even walking up and down step ladders I never had one complaint after their use. Amazing product.
I need to be able to kneel down for various jobs, and having two knee replacements, need gel knee pads to make it possible. These pads are very good at what they are supposed to do. The only possible downside is that they only have one strap in the middle (rear of knee) which doesn’t feel as secure as two straps, but this is just me being picky.

Knee pads ok for awhile, after about an hour it was like working without any pads, too thin.
Very comfortable to use especially on rough ground. Rugged shell takes a lot of punishment I found the a little big on my legs so I am at the end of the Velcro and I am medium size in all clothes.
Provide good protection but the single strap means they do not remain where you want them for very long

Found them comfortable and very useable, even when wearing shorts! Fastening by single ‘Velcro’ strap is OK, but some may prefer two strap. However, I didn’t find this an issue.
