Simple item that tiles timber frames to masonry where there is no cavity. Galvanised finish looks ok and should last. Easy to fix but suggest using external grade dome/pan head screws if the masonry is being built flush to the frame, to ensure plumb. Also suggest using a vertical DPC to ensure no moisture in the masonry is transmitted into the timber frame.
Always purchase these ties for general domestic fixture work, currently constructing four internal common rustic brick fire places, I use these to tie into the main wall's.
