Pack of 2 galvanised spikes went in fine, gripped well.... personally I put one hole in and screwed into the post to add some additional holding power. But otherwise great value from Toolstation as always
Struggled to find 100 X 100 - 600 long. Most places sell 750 long. These are to long in most ground strata. These are Perfect. Good price and ordered into store quickly. Great quality. Galvanised for longer life.

This are great for repairing finger signposts. I look after park and woodland which has many oak fingerposts. Many have rotted and snapped off at the base; a simple and very cost effective repair is to chop of the rotten end and then use a galvanised drive-in fence post spike. The original posts lasted just 12 years. Only time will tell but the galvanised spike may last longer and, possibly, all of our future post installations might start out with a galvanised spike.

Wanted 90mm square stakes 'quickly'. Bought these in the hope I could squeeze in the size slightly with the side opening as no 90mms were available. Unfortunately the stakes were so sturdy I couldn't decrease the size as much as I'd have liked, but good news for anyone wanting to buy quality 100mm square stakes!
This is a good well built unit, I much prefer over the competitors models, there is no chipping or rusting with these.
