Was too big . Not 24 x 18 . didn't fit. Measured at home and was much bigger. Even if we removed the rubber trim it was still too big. The cover was not very good metal and the Handel bits seemed weak. Would not recommend this product
Used to replace an old iron inspection hatch on a septic tank system. It has cut out all the unpleasant smells completely, so worth getting the double seal version.
The item -just a metal cover for our water pump chamber- was just right! Light enough, yet sturdy it offered a good solution to our problem.
Tool station were able to provide it quickly with minimum fuss and we picked it up a day after ordering.
Does what it’s for,ideal for footpaths
Extremely disappointed with this product. Purchased it a week ago - just tried to lift the lid (after unscrewing the screws) and the steel handle came off of first attempt. It is impossible to lift without the handles (or causing damage!). Very poorly made product.
Poor quality, badly fitted seals, weak screws.
It still let's smell through
Awesome, you could say their ‘grate’ :) :) I had to buy 3 but now I can’t walk darn’t side o mi house, you know can’t do wi’t bad luck not this year.
Worth the few extra £ solid and sturdy
Bought to cover a sewer access point which could get a bit whiffy. The plastic frame is a bit flexible so setting that took a bit of care to ensure it wasn't distorted. Once installed the cover screws in with 4 stainless counter sunk cap screws. The top flexes so wouldn't drive a car over it but certainly good enough for pedestrian traffic. Has stopped the smell so sealing is working. Corrosion resistance, will have to see what Scottish weather can throw at it.
Did the job. The position was in garden, so extra secure with screwed corners. Robust look and feel.
We click & collected an item, got the email to say it was ready when we turnt up they didnt have it, nobody had informed the manager.

one screw of top cover was over tightened to frame before delivery and had broken off the plastic joint in frame.too much bother to return
