The garden store does the job but has some rough edges. Not that easy to assemble
Poor quality materials. Damaged caused by nails. Warped wood. Badly written instructions with poor diagrams. Unhelpful customer helplines. Not fit for purpose and expensive too.
Ultimately this store does what's required, is easy to construct and looks good.
However - quality control / pre- dispatch inspection perhaps leaves something to be desired...
For a made to order item there were several points to note. Firstly, not all of the screws, nails were present and several panels were poorly aligned. This was particularly true for the doors where wooden block spacers had to be made and put in place to allow for the hinge to fit to the frame.
This shed is sturdy once constructed (very delicate during assembly) and looks great. The assembly instructions are appalling though. They warn you that they cover more than one design of shed but what you get is a set of drawings that may relate to a very different building with different quantities of parts which are coded rather than named. I needed to decipher the codes before measuring the parts carefully to identify them. The parts were numbered but this did not match the codes in the sheet. The illustrations differed from my shed and I was left to use my common sense to guess how it went together. A couple of parts were slightly damaged (not disastrously) and some pieces had to be screwed together under tension due to warping. I have no complaints about the shed now it’s together. I just don’t think everyone would be able to do this.
