Excellent repair kit, easy to install, but had a little trouble with the rod fitting into the seat fixing blocks. These I had to redrill with a 10mm metal drill. Just be careful in not going to deep.
This pack was poorly made. One plastic nut was too big and wouldn’t tighten. The main stem stuck halfway into the hinges. It took a long time to re-engineer and fit.
I didn't have time to take it back. Extremely disappointing and I will not risk buying again.

Had to sand down the stretcher connector between the two hinges so the tube would fully reach the end stop on the toilet seat fitting. Never had to do this before!
Product is good value and was relatively easy to fit.
I found that the rod was too tight a fit for our seat fitting but this was not a problem as the rod I had was not broken and fitted easily into the hinge fittings from the kit.
Definitely a DIY job and massive saving on buying a new seat with hinges set.

The set was useless. Firstly the 2 side hinges, instead of being mirror images for left and right, were 2 left sided pieces.
The 2 nuts wouldnt screw onto the fixing screws, they just wouldnt thread.
I couldn't belive it. What a waste of money.
I wouldnt use tool station again also because the delivery only had one option of next day delivery and cost a fiver.
