The FloodMate 3 is an emergency pumping kit for defending property from low level flooding. This set includes a petrol driven, 1.5HP pump (model WX10, capable of up 80 litres per minute, through 25mm (1") hose, over 30 metres of level ground) All the contents are supplied in a sturdy, easy-to-carry case with lid, and the included pump is designed to operate constantly, pumping away minimal amounts of flood water down to a level of 3mm. The hoses are light, easy to position and feature quick connections to enable fast deployment in an emergency. Initial priming of the pump with water is required before starting. It will pump water down to 3mm, but it must not run dry and is deal for use when mains power is not available.
