I ordered two and got two different shapes / sizes. Made it work just as was an ‘emergency’ job to get the gate on but made my life a lot harder than it needed to be. Had to get separate fixings for it to work in the end. More a shop issue than a product one maybe.
Well made and does the job. If your gate post is a bit rotted it can be used to replace the knock-in hooks
Seems very sturdy and well coated in zinc. After drilling through the post I chiselled part way through to square the hole, but this may not be necessary. Recommended.
The afore mentioned item was very good value for the price. They had enough in stock for my requirements.
Also the quality was very good. Would recommend to anyone.

I have set these in resin capsules in the pillars ready to hang the wrought iron gates on, these are perfect, & will take the weight of the gates, also there's a 5mm hole in the pin to put a set screw & lock nut on to prevent them being nicked...
