Good product, easy to fit and works well. Just a pity it doesn't come with fixing bolts as had to buy those separately and they only come in packs of 10.
Sturdy hook plate for a field gate and easily installed
Was not square(90 degrees) whole thing was bent and twisted also the pin was a lot narrower then it should of been which left it unusable due tk tk much sag

Strong and do exactly what they're supposed to do.
It’s a farm gate hinge pin, strong with a good size gap between the back plate and pin
Weld failed after installing, had to drive 20mins there and back to buy another!
Be sure to check the measurements of the gates etc as the pin was further away from the plate than expected - but this measurement isn't given. Problem solved by siking the plate into the post. Apparently there isn't a shorter distant version available? Strong quality unit.

Ordered these,,,with pins ,but they was to thick for my gates,,,,got a refund without any problems.
Ideal bit of ironwork saved boring holes fitted straight onto timber post .
The hook itself was robust and well made, unfortunately the post was too thick for the gate. It was returned unopened for a full and very quick refund

However, due to a bit of information lacking from Toolstations website, it didn’t say how proud the hook stood away from the back plate. Unfortunately it stood too proud for our gates, and I had to return it.
Very good piece of kit, well made and strong. Was awkward to fit the gate, because of the size and weight, not the hinge. Needs M8 or M10 fixings.

Good gate hook on plate for hanging gates on posts
Great product. Easy to install, however, when fitting to block work I drilled a 10mm hole & used universal wall plugs, with M10x70 coach bolts. One of the bolt heads sheared off (frustrating) so then used a 12mm drill bit to widen the other holes for the plug. This still left ample bite when tightening the bolt in place. Overall, very pleased & would recommend.
