We all have the preferred flux we use. I have tried several fluxes and this one suits me the best. Just wash your hands befr going to the loo not a problem on the skin on my hands but it does sting on more sensitve skin

Used for 30+ years, don’t taste very nice though.
Simply clean area and fitting, apply flux and heat and you will get a perfect solder joint.
I have been using this for a number of years with no problems since experiencing another well known make actually eating through the pipe and causing water leaks if not cleaned off. I would not use anything else.

I haven’t used this brand before (for flux). I quite like it. It has a consistency a bit like cemolina - a slightly wet constancy. Compared to my usual brand which is more like Vaseline. It has been working well and I would say that the post soldering residue is less messy that my normal brand. So I will use it again. The tub is too big to have a useable brush in the lid. I have been using a small paint brush and that’s been fine.
