The Faithfull Honing Guide is a precision tool designed for restoring sharp cutting edges to chisels and plane irons when used with oil, water or diamond sharpening stones. This versatile guide accommodates blades ranging from 3mm to 67mm in width, making it suitable for both straight-edged and bevel-edged chisels as well as plane irons. The guide features dual jaw positions to ensure accurate bevel angles for different blade types. For chisels, use the inner jaws with a blade projection of 30mm to achieve a 30-degree angle, or 40mm projection for a 25-degree angle. Plane irons require the outer jaws, with a 38mm projection producing a 30-degree angle or 50mm projection for a 25-degree angle. Ideal for carpenters, joiners and woodworkers who need to maintain precision cutting edges on their hand tools, this honing guide eliminates guesswork and ensures consistent, professional sharpening results across a wide range of blade sizes.
