Really good f clamp for the money did everything it needed to do
I got 2 of these, same product, but very similar yet slightly different designs. The one with the blue handle works great. The biggest difference with the other (black and blue handle as pictured) is that it didn't actually clamp. Tighten the handle and the arm slides down the shaft without gripping. Big fat fail. Honestly, how does this stuff get to market?
These are strong, robust clamps that can exert considerable pressure if required. They can reach well beyond the edge of the object being clamped because there is a 120 mm between the bar and the screw.
Good price and better than i thought and works well
Torn how to rate these as they are great clamps. However, the product supplied was not as advertised. The advertised model (image and tech specs) is the latest from Draper - 18959, but the product supplied was the older model - 28798. The handles on the latest model are much better than the old, so declined to take these. Swift response from Toolstation to complaint.

Good substantial clamps, quite heavy and well made. Bar has 'serrations' which stop the clamp sliding down of its own accord, unlike some cheapex F-clamps.
Strong, good quality and good value. These are well made clamps, strong and durable with good holding/cramping capacity.

The large clamp was used to clamp a 600mm unit from springing apart after gluing in situ. It needed supporting from below during the clamping procedure. But did the job

Very happy with the clamp. It is very sturdy (aka heavy) which does mean you have to bear that in mind when positioning it. However, that also means it can take a good clamping force and not buckle. Sensibly, the main rack looks like it has been finished to deter corrosion but only time will tell how successful that has been. Overall, I feel it is good value.

I bought these for the 120mm throat depth. The sliding arm snags as it is moved and a couple of times it has failed to engage in the serrations allowing the clamp to loosen. I will return them if the situation does not improve as they aren't as well made as F clamps from another manufacturer.
