The extension studs were just what I was looking for and they will do the job nicely.
These devices solved a problem I had securing a switched socket to the back plate after I had installed wood cladding planks to an internal wall.
These adjustable studs allowed me to use shorter electrical screws, making the whole installation easier and more secure.

Bought to extend back box screws had to return if you cut the screws and try using it wouldn't work
Great when manufacturers supply inadequate short screws with faceplaces (sockets/switches etc) or builder has set the back box too deep. Alternativey buy longer or have a supply of 3.5mm screws albeit not always possible for black/chrome/brass faceplates

Extension studs for electrical screws that are too short to screw against the face plate. A clever idea instead of buying lots of new screws.
We have matt black light switches and the screws provided were too short. Could not find the right length in matt black anywhere. These did the trick and solved the problem
