installed new basin in bathroom the old waste pipe had to be cut out the connection was awakward tosave time i use this flexi pipe simple to connect in awkward space behind new basin vanity in bathroom

Fibre washer just gets soggy, washer wrong size and leaks
Came in very handy for a job where the basin waste would not line up to the waste pipe when trying with standard traps. Comes with a clip so you can form the pipe into a reliable trap.
Washer supplied is not fit for purpose. We needed this to connect a new bathroom basin to a fixed waste pipe. A P trap or bottle trap wouldn't fit but this would have been ideal. The washer supplied to seal onto the waste is completely useless, the outside diameter is too small and so it slips into the inside bore of the waste as it is tightened. It is also made of fibre which soaked up the water and made it leak. Supply this with the correct sized washer and made of rubber compound and it would get more stars. Eventually bodged the whole thing with a lot of silicone to seal the joint and threw the washer away. If we hadn't needed to get the the job completed it would have been returned.
Did great job as it was a difficult plumbing due to other pipes etc. Excellent product.
Great for confined spaces, easily adjustable and easy to fit
Not the best but quite cheap. The sude that fit to the sink is not perfect and if tried to tighten then the gasket that come with is going insite the waste pipe. I put a bit of silicone and works well. A better design could be more useful.
Does the job in tight small areas fitted under a wash basin no sealent or anything else required.

The supposedly solvent weldable neck is too small for a 32mm fitting, its a sloppy fit. The instructions supplied with the item state to use silicone - which sounds like a bodge, so I returned the item.

Worked for a tight fitting waste outlet (the pedestal is too fat), but the outlet isn't really the right size for a solvent-weld joint, I used silicone sealant and solvent-weld to make it water-tight.
Great piece, did the job connecting odd pipework...
Used as a temporary repair as i had run out of correct stock on van. OK but wouldn't want to leave on permanently
