Can’t say much as I’ll have to wait to see how long this lasts but £28 is very readable.
Like for like replacement for the same unit that was over 10 years old. Pre-charged and ready to go. Hoping for a similar lifespan from the replacement. Best price around and available same day.
My system was loosing pressure for over a week Every time it started it was sluggish, so I topped up the system and tried to bleed the radiators. It didn't work so bled the pressure vessel and water started coming down the tank and the valve had no pressure coming out.
So ordered the tank and picked up the next day. The fitting was straight forward as I had stripped it off the wall the day before and partially drained the C H so I cleaned up the joints
and fitted it carefully. It has been working for a month now with no problems, with a steady pressure of 1.6 Bar. D.I.Y pensioner.
easy to fit but needs a separate bracket and band to fit against a wall. I used a flexible connector on the inlet. Adjustable diaphragm pressure using air valve at top..
Expansion vessel was good quality, available in the store, comes recommended.
Had the dreaded loss of pressure in my heating system, losing water through the PRV. Quick read of the boiler manual indicated that an external expansion vessel should be fitted in the event of failure of the internal one (otherwise it was a boiler off the wall job). Internal one was 6 litres, so the 8 litre one fitted the bill.
Installation was very straight forward, and now I have a heating system happily maintaing its pressure, and at a bargain price in my opinion!

Decenr quality expansion vessel, replaced defective unit that had a leaking bladder inside which was filling up with water and dropping pressure. Easy to install however, you need to purchase a wall bracket seperate.

Was replacing what I thought was like for like but the only problem I found with this vessel was that it was about an inch taller so was a bit of a tight squeeze to get into existing space. Apart from that all was well.
Had to change old one as 22yrs old and balloon had burst inside and losing pressure, this done the job.
