I've had some discount applied and there was a deal where there was extra cutting disc included, on top of the stock one. Machine very sturdy, my first time using cut off saw, needed to get used to it. Cuts through brick like butter, even on the generic blade included. You got to be careful, as you may cut into pavement without even noticing. Wear dust mask as dust produced is enormous. Ear defenders is a must. Only thing missing would be water inlet to suppress dust, otherwise it's very good.
Fantastic bit of kit!
The wrap around handle makes it easy to use at any angle.
Together with the cutting disc suppled it cuts through stone and brick with ease.
The best angle grinder I’ve used in a long time.
Would definitely recommend…
Excellent tool, soft start and good depth of cut. Would recommend.
Brilliant, used it to take down and old brick garage, cut through bricks and concrete base with ease
This is a grate bit of kit and works very well. The support wheels save the back and make it easy to operate, plus with it being electric the weight is very much reduced. A good kit!
well priced works really well no complaints what so ever would highly recommend this unit
Very capable saw. I used it to slice through a sizable stone that I came across when moving earth from my garden. The saw was easy to set up, I used the blade that came in the box (also came with a premium blade, which influenced my purchase from Toolstation) it cut through stone with little effort. Kept going, which surprised me after 4 hours of hard work.
Cracking saw, but don’t buy it without the free blade. The standard ‘diamond’ blade lasted about five minutes until it was replaced with the free blade which is is still going strong after many cuts through concrete.
Works well for cutting paving slabs outdoors. No harder to use than a chainsaw - requires similar level of care when using.
Hi, I’m interested. Please contact me if this is still available with the lowest price you will accept. Thanks
Brilliant bit of kit made short work of cutting slabs for a large patio, far easier than using a nine inch angle grinder.
This is a great tool for a DIY project. More than powerful enough to cut paving slabs and brick etc. I was intending to use it for a project then sell it. Ive decided to hide it in my shed ready for the next big project my wife thinks up.
Made a difficult wall removal much easier, be prepared to be in a cloud if dust but it's fine with a proper dust mask
Incredible bit of kit. Cuts through concrete blocks with ease. For the price it’s hard to ask for more, and the convenience of having a cutter when needed and not having to plan to hire one ahead of time is great. Shame the additional blade was out of stock when I ordered.
Perfect for carrying out a DIY fencing job. Disc size is perfect. Good Value for money especially with the extra free diamond wheel which was included as an offer.
Needed to cut 50mm slabs. I was impressed with handling of the grinder. As you know cutting a straight line square cut is difficult unless you clamp a guide to the slab. Having the guide wheels on the grinder meant I got an accurate square straight line. Also the grinder is powerful enough to handle thick concrete easily. As you release the trigger the grinder has an electric brake to slow down the blade for safety and reducing down time.
In my recent acquisition of this saw, I had initial reservations regarding its capabilities in handling a particularly robust concrete mixture. However, to my astonishment, it effortlessly sliced through the material as if it were butter. Maintaining a firm grip on the saw was essential to prevent it from escaping my control. Overall, this tool proved to be highly effective and exceeded my expectations, making it a worthwhile investment.
