Had a previous model for around 20 years, dropped it so the bed wouldn’t lock in place, this is a brilliant tool, and excellent value. hopefully it’ll last as long as the previous one.
Excellent cutter. Used it for pallets, cut through nails no problem
Check the box they give you. I was given a resealed box, only realized when I got home... everything was there, although the packets had all been opened and it had been used. If I wasnt in a rush I'd of returned it out of principle. If you buy something advertised as new, it should be that way. The saw itself is good, cuts straight and is well made with a solid feel to it. Should imagine the brushes might take a battering though.
Good for the price. Some of the adjustments for angle cuts are not great specially if you are looking for very precise cut
Nice to use but motor brushes sparking from brand new. Tried it a few times to see if it would settle down but it didn't improve.
Excellent saw. Tough and easy to handle. Fits Evolution 2m track perfectly. Clean neat cutting.
Great item , a little bit heavy but easy enough to use. Just what I required for my kitchen project
Easy to use when you work out how to fit the blade. Instructions are not that concise on that subject
Bought this to build slatted doors for a bin shed. It zipped through the job with ease and the cord didn’t get in the way. I haven’t used one before so I can’t compare, but I am pleased with the purchase. The blade worked loose after several cut; I tightened it and it hasn’t happened since.
Used in loads of applications including laying real wood flooring 20mm. Cuts brilliantly no bad edges. Cut plywood thin same, no issues. Nice and light aswell.
As an avid DIYer and Upcycler, the only item missing frm my armoury was a Circular saw as to date my chop saw and hand saws handled all cutting jobs
However rebuilding a classic cast iron bench with hardwood slats necessitated trimming 10mm off 1200mm slats.
I thought long a hard about what to purchase (As my first Circular saw) but research suggested the item purchased and I was not disappointed
I was also concerned the blade that came with the machine would make clean cut.
Having run cut on softwood as a dummy run, my fears were unfounded.
The cut in hardwood was even cleaner
Well done Evolution.
Great saw. Does everything that I want it to do. 3 metre lead is especially useful. Instruction manual is a bit hard going but YouTube will put you right on the basics
Really good circular saw, good price and efficient purchasing and delivery
Review for Evolution R185CCS 185mm Multi-Material Circular Saw 230V
Evolution R185CCS 185m.
Very affordable at works great.
Fantastic piece of kit for the money. The multi purpose blade is just as fantastic. Grat value for money especially discounted on the day of purchase.
Seems well made and is easy to set up and get started with. Would have no issues recommending to others.
Only used once. Seems a good powerful saw. Did a very neat cut through dry wood. Think it's going to be a good addition to my tool collection
Excellent saw - fast, clean, easy to use. Helpful service from Toolstation too!
Great product, used for cutting wood and aluminium.
Product is good but too noisy. All the best Evolution
