Love this wet and dry vac I've had very expensive ones in the past but all have been bulky and really loud where this one is compact and even though it's smaller it's still quite powerful after a few weeks of use I can honestly 100% recommend this.
Very powerful and easy to use. Tools are useful too. Some wheels would be a nice addition. Also cleaning the filter is very messy.
Works well in dust extractor and vacuum modes. Power take off is very handy. Note: Instructions refer to use of waste bags, but there are no details of recommended bags and I have been using it bagless. Instructions should be clarified on this point.
Great quality. Works well good price.
Powerful vacum, Great for the workshop.
Would benefit from a longer power cable but wouldn't put me off it.
Would recommend
Great Hoover and warranty. I used it to drain out my central heating system and it was outside and couldn’t hear that it had gotten full and the ball had gone into the stopper. It melted its self. I contact evolution and they replaced it for me. As it’s bag less you need to clean filter a lot when doing dusty stuff but that’s the same for all bagless hoovers.
Sucks and blows as you'd expect. Power take of works well. Good to carry about.
Cons No storage for hose. Accessories are no more than adequate. Filter needs regular cleaning.
Would have 5 stars if hose connected to the evolution mitre saw out of the box without an adapter or an adapter was supplied. Also like other reviews if you are transporting it around it would be useful if the hose clipped to the body in some way but for the price it’s Vgood.
This is a good buy. Works well for the price and the power take off is very useful. I did buy this however to extract the sawdust from my Evolution R255TBL+ table saw, thinking it would be a perfect match. NO! First thing, the power take off is rated at 1700w while the saw motor is 1800w. Next, the nozzle is about 3mm smaller than the saw outlet, requiring several winds of pvc tape to make it stay in. So a couple of small upgrades would move this up from good to excellent. Come on Evolution wake up!
Lightweight, compact and easy to assemble. very good suction, also like that I can hook it up to many assorted workshop tools I own other than Evolution.
Good hover ability but even stronger blow function. blew the empty box near 3m with the hose attatched..should be perfect for clearing up those hard to reach places. Form factor is ideal for using in my shed.
Vacuum is ok, but doesnt connect to standard power tools for dust extraction as pipe is too small, aslso doesnt connect to other evolution tools, evolution customer services state that you need to buy at convertor, at £6.98 for a pice of plastics that probably cost 20p to manufacture, why design something tha doesn't direct connect to your other products. Or provide the convertor with the product
This vacuum is a great addition to my small workshop does exactly what it says on the tin
I’ve only used this a couple of times so far, but I’m pleased with the performance. It’s powerful, lightweight and easy to carry around.
Does what it says on the box. Hose is a little stiff, but big on off switch is great, light weight unit, not too loud and it scoops up the shavings, bits and dust. Filter needs a brush when you empty it.
Compact, connects directly to power tools as well as separate use as vacuum cleaner. Perfect for what I need. Good value too!
Good suction, not oversize. Would like pipe storage but everything else is stored away.
The Evolution vac seems very good as a vacuum plenty of suction I bought it with the 225mm drywall sander and combined its amazing the only downfall is the filter gets blocked quite quickly so keep on top of the filter cleaning I would definitely recommend
Great vacuum for a small workshop. Blower function great for clearing accumulated sawdust. Best feature though is the power pass through - the vacuum starts/stops automatically with the tool it's connected to, making it less hassle to collect the sawdust from your saw etc.
Great price from Toolstation.
Great design, thoughtful tool storage, inivotive shape, quiet in operation but, most importantly, super suction power!
Really good for the price, good suction, the blower function is ideal for clearing sawdust and shavings out of tools.
