Excellent, easy to apply and render over, would be handy if it came in 5 litre’s for smaller projects
Great product, easy to apply , great coverage and does the job when it come to rendering, would use.agaun
Used it first time and found it very great stuff I be buying more for sure.
Brilliant for stabilising masonry, providing a good key and evening out moisture draw ensuring the render doesn’t dry too quickly.
It does exactly what it says on the tin decent stuff
Excellent product for keeping a uniform suction to render on.
It is very good quality. You will never have a problem with it.
Never thought this product would work on certain backgrounds but ill eat my words. Absolutely amazing invention.
Job done
Great stuff...Sticks extremely well to old bricks, render and old paint...just make sure everything is sound though before painting..100% make sure you wipe off straight away any splashes as once it's gone off you have to pick it off, which isn't easy...if going over thermo blocks, make sure you use a mesh too.. otherwise your new render could crack where the mortar joints are..
I have problems with water ingress through my garage wall took advice from a builder and he suggested before he rendered the wall I should apply Rendagrip to give added protection and ensure good adherence of the render. It was easy to apply, the colour makes it easy to see any missed spots. Two coats and allowing the drying time for him to render seems to have stopped the problem, great product highly recommend.
A really reliable bonding agent for external rendering.
Good Stuff - 1st thought - a tad pricey but considering it's a 10ltr tub then perhaps not, doe's a very good job anyway....
This recommend by plasterer and for bricks to be rendered.
This product was used on a wall circa 1832. Prior to using the wall was being prepared for rendering with a waterproof 3:1:1 ratio mix; ie sharp sand: builders or plastering sand: cement. The builder was going to prepare the wall with drill holes approx’ 5mm deep and 2cm apart. This is a very time consuming procedure and as the wall was relatively dry, the EVERBUILD 507 RENDERGRIP was used as an alternative “key”. A 4” brush was used. A roller was tried but proved unsuitable. To get into all the “knoocks and crannies” a large exterior brush, suitable for exterior brickwork and other surfaces, was used to paint on the product. The product was easily applied and using a very heavily loaded brush only one coat was necessary. Ideally a second coat would be advisable. The product will really quickly on dry surfaces but where the base material is damp overnight curring is recommended. One coat of rendered finished with “scratch” should be left overnight before finished coat.
Does what it says on the label good product, senibly priced
Easy to apply with brush or roller depending on surface being applied to. Dries quickly, able to get first scratch coat of render on same day. Excellent 'grab' qualities for applied finish. Just clean any drips or spillage with water before it dries.
Seemed to go on very well, easy to apply with a masonry brush. Too early to comment on longevity but was bought on recommendation. Even better if it was available in 5L for smaller projects (had lots left over but was able to sell it on)
Great product does what it says on the tub easy to use and to apply.
Came across this online doing research for a job, tried it and it worked great also it was easy to use.
Went on well and good coverage. No complaints from renderers
