They do the job once you get the hang of it, but there are better ones out there that are easier to use.

Module setup allows you make your own sockets to fit your needs and your home set up. This nicely works with a white surround that fits in with the MK sockets it is next to.
Used to make my own chrome plug which had a telephone and Ethernet socket, spot on
RJ45 Euro Modules are easy to find BUT NOT ONES that are coloured Black!
This one is not only black but is of excellent quality. It also fits a shallow 15mm back box, which was a superb surprise when I opened its box.
Having found these, and that they are available in White or Black. Taking into account the quality of manufacture & price, they are now "My standard" RJ45 socket.

I have used these with success. I use them with a single gang data plate that toolstation also sell.
Very poor quality both in how it clips into the module but also how the cable goes into the socket (you have to wiggle it)
But you no longer stock the blank plates and they are now quite difficult to obtain!
A well made product that did the job perfectly and all for a great price
Easy enough to install, but the Jack is mounted on a PCB which is only held in place by two flimsy clips. This results in the PCB slipping out of the clips if the RJ45 plug is inserted with firm enough pressure to hear the 'click'. Then the plate has to be removed to re-position the PCB... no, not really a robust item.
Performs as expected but only 3 stars as the colour never matches the surrounding faceplate! Very frustrating to have a yellowed set of modules inside a white plate. Not particularly good value for money either.
