Really good design and powerful pump and such a good price
Dirty water pump.. but be careful what its drawing up - small stones shattered the pump internally in the 1st week we used this to pump out some footings , We have had 3 of these pumps now all met the same Ends
used for septic tank ,when other pump failed ,was ideal for short term
Works well but can not get the float adjuster to stay in place. The model in the Toolstation video has a screw in clamp. This model does not

Use it for pumping out septic tank. I have to replace my pumps every couple of years, owing to the hostile environment they are in. I'm sure they would last longer given an easier life, but i have a specific need and this one is doing just fine so far.

Excellent pump managed to remove water from the basemeant. Very powerful, I would recommend this pump.
I thought pump power, set up etc was all fine. Priming is a bit temperamental and it needs a bit of a vigorous rocking to get going. I didn't read the minimum depth to work which means there's still quite a bit of water left when the pump stops working
The performance of the pump was good however the build quality was less so. I used it periodically over a couple of months then I noticed the 90 degree union had split which meant the pump no longer worked as it should. I returned it to toolstation where a full refund was given
I had two problems with the pump. 1.The pump wouldn't switch on, it only switched on if you held the float switch as high above the pump as it would go.
2. When the pump was on, it picked up a small stone which hit the case inside and spit the case so the water poured out the side.
I repaired the case and fitted a 8mm grate to intake now it works great.
Great value pump, used it to empty septic tanks and it managed everything apart from the things that should not have been there in the first place!
Easy to unblock if it gets clogged and the float switch work well, appreciate the bracket to hold the float switch up and keep the pump running with low liquid levels.
dirty water pump flat hose kits available from Toolstation to fit this pump compact easy to use and reliable. Cheaper at Toolstation than Argos at current staff easy to deal with polite and helpful
