Ease of use, very good. Very poor sawdust disposal. Lots of clearing up to carry out afterwards, attaching vacuum pipe to exit point made very little difference. Disappointed.
Happy with purchase. Cut clean & square and made replacing an old decking a breeze. The sliding feature allows for cutting wider planks which came in handy, when cutting shelves.
Much better than my old mitre saw.

The machine has scratches once I opened it, and I don't bother to ask for replacement. Nevertheless, it is a good machine to use for DIY or daily use. The laser is pretty useful.
Unpacked it and tested briefly this afternoon. Pretty easy to set up. Feels well made and sturdy. The laser light does lineup with the blade though not sure if there is a way to adjust this. Will be testing properly tomorrow when fitted skirting boards.
First time I had ever used a chop saw. Always previous used a hand saw. What a difference it makes using this piece of kit. So quick and perfectly square every cut. Such a good purchase and would recommend to anyone.
Great saw so far, laser great when using inside, outside in natural light it is quite feint. Time will tell in longevity of blade etc.

Lovely heavy duty model - do not know how I survived without one. There's a cheaper version with plastic handle and thinner base but this looked more robust. Like the other reviews, it needs some tweaking to get a perfectly square cut out of the box. Did two trusses for pub bench in minutes. Just waiting on a Dewalt rip saw now and I'm off :)

Wish I had bought this first time round. Had previously had none sliding version 2112. This is a great upgrade, more versitle, can cut larger peices and laser cutting guide saves so much time. Although nearly twice the price.
I was pleased with the perfect mitres and the ability to switch of the laser on the top switch
