The device is not built very well. It's cheap soon plastic.
The blade doesn't cut and frequently gets jammed on small branches.
noisy but does a good job. useful to have a blade guard for storage.
Brilliant lightweight tool I was amazed how much hedging it cut on one charge.
Very good on soft leylandii types hedges, but doesn''t cope well on native beech, hawthorn etc. Can cut a soft stem up to c. 7 mm, can't really cut through woody stems.
Sharp, lightweight and balanced. Battery runs down rather quickly.
A nice hedgetrimmer for an already maintained softwood hedge, not really suited to anything tougher.
Great price battery last long enough and charging is quick would buy
Read a few reviews and bought this Hedge Trimmer thinking I’ll try it and if it’s rubbish I’ll return it! Well!! No need for that. It’s brilliant and it’s saved me hours of trimming.
Bought this because I cut through my corded machine spotted the Einhell hedge trimmer a very efficient machine does the job brilliantly easy to use and handles well
Really impressed with the trimmers, haven’t got a big hedge but handled it no problem.
Purchased these on offer,i read the reviews first, they are very lightweight but get the job done,I've got a conifer hedge did the job great, good hedge cutter no mucking about with extension leads.
Lightweight , effective and easy to use. Good value
Have only used it once but, so far, very impressed with it. It's quite light to manoeuvre and cuts through small branches of beech and corkscrew hazel in our hedge. I don't expect it to be as strong as my petrol cutters but, for a quick and easy whizz at tidying up some Spring growth, it's very handy and leaves a perfectly acceptable finish.
Excellent trimmer and package ..very easy & light to use - Highly recommend
Light weight and easy to use. Good discount as well.
Absolutely brilliant hedge trimmer. Wished I`d had this years ago.
Great piece of kit. Even 2amp battery lasts ages light & easy to use
Very well balanced and light weight. Quick charging and lasts for 20 minutes
Great cordless Hedge trimmer especially if you also get the 4.ah batteries. Great product.
I do wish Toolstation would provide a chair or two for weary customers using public transport to rest before they set off home.
affordable, user friendly, great that it come with battery, not as powerful as something more expensive
Gotta be honest - wish I’d gone battery years ago. Each year I seem to do battle with a petrol trimmer, but I’m no engineer and if it doesn’t wanna work then no amount of arm strength could coax it back into service this year. So at a very modest price I thought “what’s the worst that it could be” - but oh my god … of course it’s new so it’s real sharp, but it’s so light I was just wafting it around and it was like a hot knife through butter.
Battery life was no problem at all - probably ran for at least half an hour - I’ll get out and really test it next weekend, but at that price (cos I have a lot of hedge) I bought a second battery, so reckon I’ll be done in no time.
Shouldn’t rue wasted time - but I’m definitely not holding back on reinvesting going forward.
