Not sure what it is designed for. Used it for 5 minutes, its overheated and smelled of burned elements.
Looks like a nice sander. I like the digital speed control and it is nice weight to hold. Good range of sanding and polishing discs come with it.
Great polisher, good speed control and helped massively polishing a customers boat.

This is an excellent polisher. With the variable speed it is great for car paint and grinding and polishing concrete. Highly recommended
Only used for sanding purposes so far. More Than happy. Did the jobs I bought it for.
Pretty competent kit. Used it as a polisher which I couldn't fault and then as a sander which proved to be effective but harder to control. Took some practise to get it to run on the surface smoothly, but I imagine this would be true of any polisher. Runs quietly and enough power.
If I'm after a tool I'm not going to use all the time I generally go for Einhell. Good value and decent quality. Bought it to use with diamond polishing pads for concrete countertops etc. It's powerful and certainly gets the job done.
Fantastic machine for the price comes with polish pads and standard 80 120 and 240 grit sandpaper 2 of each. speed control anoying at first as it can go up or down depending the way you hold it but got the hang of it holding it different way now .
Great tool, works very well. Digital speed adjuster +/- 1 increments. Can go very fast if required. Applicator, buffer and sanding wheels are very good. Speed adjuster buttons are in wrong place - I kept slowing it down by accident. I thought the battery was dying, then remembered it's mains powered!!
Once assembled with handle, no longer fits in case which is annoying. You have to unbolt the handle each time.
Successfully removed all minor scratches with T-cut. Car paint looks new again. Careful near car badges, it ripped my engine size badge clean off.
Feels like a good quality piece of kit. However the touch sensitive speed controls are in the area where you hold it so occasionally it speeds up or down due to the placement of your hands.
